Rock n Roll is here to stay (well... for a few days anyway)

Monday 9th May and back into working with Estrella to finish the last few tracks for their album. Looking forward to seeing the boys, it's been awhile and they've become great pals. Go here if you fancy a listen to progress to date: http://lnk.ms/Hm6kw

So it's "rock til you drop" at the house {which might not be long in my case...lol!}. I'll likely approach things a bit more cautiously and rock until I wilt a bit, then go to bed and leave the boys to continue to rock until they see fit to drop. I love it..... I'm afraid my leather pants don't fit any more but at least I don't have to bleach my hair these days. I must have spent a fortune on Brobat in the 70's and 80's.

My wife asked me how many eggs we had the other day. "Five" I replied. A moment of shock went through my whole being... me, one-time wild man of rock, ex hellraiser etc... Now I count the eggs!!

Hypnotherapy utilises the power of suggestion. Which is just that, powerful. From the first time that "mummy kisses it better" (and it works) right up to the very necessary and costly blind trials which are mandatory in establishing the efficacy of a new drug (these being designed to exclude the action of "the placebo effect"). The range of areas where hypnotherapy has been proved effective is too vast to even start listing here, but is readily available.

For anyone seeking help it is important to carefully check the credentials of the potential hypnotherapist as it is only fairly recently that a formal accreditation system has been put in place. It should also be noted that the skill of the hypnotherapist is not the ability to put the trance (you can witness that in a pub on a sunday afternoon), but how to utilise that state most effectively based on the issues presented by the client. Then, choosing the myriad of possible strategies, how the hypnotherapist makes "the desired outcome irresistible". Because ultimately, people believe what they want to believe!

How many sessions do I need?

This varies greatly according to the presented issues. In the case of smoking for instance, one session can be all that is required if the pennies drop into the slots perfectly on the day. If not, reinforcing sessions will likely be needed as is often the case with deeper rooted issues. Hypnotherapy is not generally regarded as a long, drawn out process however. When it is effective, it works fast!

How much does it cost?

I charge £50 for a 2 hour session, this includes a preliminary phone conversation to discuss presented issues.
